The 21st Annual Galaxy of Stars Luncheon was a great success with more than 400 in attendance and over $210,000 raised to fund our programs and services for people with disabilities.
Held at the Georgia Aquarium on Friday, April 26, 2019, the event brought together corporate leaders, sponsors, supporters and friends to celebrate the workplace successes of individuals with disabilities and recognize the community champions that have contributed greatly to building inclusive communities where employment success is possible. This year’s theme was “Together We Rise.” A highlight of the program was the recognition of the Stars Among Us—Tommy Nobis Center program participants who have achieved career success.
Former Falcons Head Coach Dan Reeves and former Falcon Greg Brezina were joined by a team of Atlanta Falcons Legends to lend their support of the legacy of Tommy Nobis and employment for people with disabilities.
We are incredibly thankful for the support of our generous donors who help us create a supportive community where people with disabilities are afforded the opportunity to work. A few of our major sponsors from this event and throughout the years include:
· Cobb EMC Community Foundation
· WellStar Health System
· Georgia Power
· Publix Super Markets Charities
· First Data
· Manheim Atlanta
· The Home Depot Foundation
