The 21st Annual Galaxy of Stars Luncheon was a great success with more than 400 in attendance and over $210,000 raised to fund our programs and services for people with disabilities.
Held at the Georgia Aquarium on Friday, April 26, 2019, the event brought together corporate leaders, sponsors, supporters and friends to celebrate the workplace successes of individuals with disabilities and recognize the community champions that have contributed greatly to building inclusive communities where employment success is possible. This year’s theme was “Together We Rise.” A highlight of the program was the recognition of the Stars Among Us—Tommy Nobis Center program participants who have achieved career success.
Former Falcons Head Coach Dan Reeves and former Falcon Greg Brezina were joined by a team of Atlanta Falcons Legends to lend their support of the legacy of Tommy Nobis and employment for people with disabilities.

Former Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal in recognition of his commitment to inclusion and expansion of employment opportunities for citizens with disabilities.
Family Member Advocate of the Year Award
Alana Shepherd who co-founded world-renowned rehabilitation hospital Shepherd Center in 1975.Lifetime Achievement Award
Billi and Bernie Marcus who have made a wide and lasting impact in their community and beyond as philanthropists with many of their numerous lifelong contributions related to services for people with disabilities.
