When former Marine Tracy Jackson transitioned back to civilian life, she was eager to begin a new and exciting chapter. Unfortunately, she began experiencing seizures and memory loss which made it difficult for her to find a job and support herself.

The Department of Veterans Affairs referred Tracy to Tommy Nobis Center where she was able to be placed in positions with federal agencies. Nobis Enterprises has contracts with agencies such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Environmental Protection Agency where Tracy has worked in the mailroom for the last 11 years.

Tracy says that her coworkers have become her family and that her job has not only given her financial stability, but emotional support and a boost of confidence. Her long-term goal is to return to college and to conduct neurological research to help others who face situations similar to hers.
